Ingredients

Makes 1 large smoothie 

Smoothies are a quick, easy, practical and versatile way to refuel efficiently during sports events. Packed full of nutrients, real fresh ingredients, they should become your best friends.
This new smoothie tastes like a treat and contains balanced amounts of good carbs, fibres and protein, with the added bonus of that sweet summer strawberry flavour.

 

1 banana
Handful of strawberries
1/2 small beetroot, raw, chopped
1 ball frozen spinach
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Coconut water
 

 

Method

 
  • In a nutribullet, or equivalent, add all the ingredients and coconut water to the max line, and blend until smooth.

  • The amount of coconut water may vary depending on your preferred way of enjoying smoothies.

  • Add extra strawberries for the sweet tooth out there!

  • Enjoy!
