Hot honey air fryer salmon bites
I'm obsessed with these air fryer salmon bites. They’re such an easy and tasty salmon recipe that produces perfectly tender, bite-sized pieces of salmon for a quick midweek supper or to add to your bowls for a quick lunch on busy work days. They can be eaten hot or cold so they are great to make ahead.
Ingredients
Serves 2
4 salmon filets, chopped into cubes (400-500g)
4 tsp hot honey
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Black sesame seeds
Pinch of black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
To serve
Mix 3 tbsp live yoghurt and 1 tbsp hot sriracha
Drizzle over salmon bites
Method
Depending on type you may need to preheat the air fryer to 200°C while you prep your salmon.
Pat the salmon dry and chop it into bite-sized cubes.
Mix the hot honey, oil and seasoning.
Then drizzle the cubed salmon with the mix and mix gently to cover salmon evenly.
Add the salmon cubes to your (preheated) air fryer. Cook at 200°C for 5-7 minutes.
I love them over rice with edamame beans, broccoli, extra chilli and a little sriracha yoghurt dressing.
The Health Boost Tip
You can enjoy these salmon bites on rice bowls, cold in salads, on sourdough with a slice of avocado for breakfast… the list is endless.
