Beetroot, feta, quinoa and toasted seed salad

If you have ever attended a talk of ours or been a client of Kat’s you know one of her favourite vegetables for just about all areas of health is beetroot. It’s great for heart, liver and hormone health. We grate a large batch of beetroot to keep in fridge and add to salads through the week. With the quinoa, feta and seeds you are looking at around 25g of protein for this salad.

Overnight seedy breakfast pots

A little breakfast pot packed with healthy seeds. Seeds are a great addition to our diet as menopause women. These little pots have worked very well for me as a breakfast option. They would work well before any workout and as a post-workout refuel. If you use the 120g of Greek yoghurt specified then you’ll be hitting 28g of protein per pot.

I could not offer a more simple, balanced, delicious make ahead breakfast than this one! I wasn't even sure I was going to write this as a "recipe". But at The Health Boost we are passionate about simple real whole foods and ingredients. Being healthy does not require fancy ingredients and long winded fussy recipes.
