berry berry smoothie bowl
Who else loves a pretty smoothie? We love a colourful smoothie but especially when mornings get brighter and warmer. This berry smoothie is very simple and versatile and makes a prefect pre or post-workout fuel. It can be dairy-free, made from fresh or frozen berries, and even turned into healthy ice cream. What's not to love?

1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
5-6 tablespoons coconut yoghurt or full fat greek yoghurt
1/3 cup almond milk (or your choice of milk)
Toasted coconut shaving, pumpkin seed and extra berries for extra crunchy toppings

In a Nutribullet, or similar, add all the ingredients and whizz until smooth and combined.
Serve in a bowl, sprinkled with coconut, seeds and extra berries.
To take with you for a breakfast on-the-go, add extra milk!
The Health Boost Tip
As the mornings get brighter and temperatures rise, we all try and think of alternatives for the wintery porridge bowls. With a good amount of fibres, 3 portions of fruits, protein from the seeds and yoghurt it should keep you full and energised for an active morning.
You can also turn this smoothie into healthy ice cream lollies by pouring the mix into moulds and freezing it!
